Excellent place to stay for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the middle of beautiful countryside
This was the fourth time we have stayed at this property. The gîte is spotlessly clean, and contains everything you need. The owners are on hand if needed to provide advice on places to go etc, and always make us feel extremely welcome. We will be booking again.

Incredibly relaxing stay at this lovely property which has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. Absolutely stunning location and views and grateful for the pool to cool down in on the hot July afternoons. Vertellic was the perfect distance to pick up fresh bread every morning at a wonderful bakery and plenty of excellent restaurants close by to enjoy. Helen was very helpful and easy to contact if needed, can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

A little piece of heaven.
We have just had the most wonderful two weeks ever at Helen and Tony’s beautiful barn. there really isn’t anything else we can say about this place that hasn’t already said by previous guests.Only that it really was a slice of heaven, After a very stressful year all we needed was peace and tranquillity and we we found it here. the pool was amazing on the very hot days and the hammocks were an added bonus. Helen i want to thank you for all the useful advise about our own move to France , and we really do hope to visit the barn again.A all round fantastic place to stay.

We had a lovely stay! The gite was really lovely: a true paradise in a beautiful scenery!
We would like to thank Helen because she was very friendly and the gite had everything we needed: cosy house and a really beautiful garden! The different corners in the garden (the hammocks, jeux de boules field, many chairs, swimming pool) make it a perfect hideaway. The environment is beautiful with little villages to visit. We had a lovely time an definitely recommend the gite to other guests!

We have stayed here twice and will be going back again. This is a fantastic spot, peaceful, relaxing and the views are wonderful. The gite has everything you need, very comfy, a home from home. We would recommend the hammocks. The pool is perfect when the weather is hot, and lots of nooks and crannies to sit and read or just look at the beautiful view There are plenty of paces to visit not to far away, Verteillac is a lovely town 10 mins away. Tony and Helen make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Its perfect.

Home Away From Home.
We wanted to explore this part of France more so decided to stay again with Tony & Helen. I can report that their standards have not dropped from last year and still 5* The gite is so relaxing and well equipped that it just felt like home even taking into account a disastrous car breakdown on the 2nd day of our stay and Tony came to the rescue! Highly recommended.

Top Class Holiday.
The gite is beautifully presented, had everything we needed and more. Situated in a peaceful location but within ease drive to all locations in the region. Tony and Helen are great hosts. Thoroughly recommended.

It’s not often that we return from a holiday and have no words of criticism, there is usually something that could have made a property a little bit better but it is not so in this case. Helen and Tony have thought of everything and the barn is brilliantly well equipped and beautifully decorated. It is incredibly spacious and the garden is wonderful with picture postcard pretty views in every direction. We will miss the tranquility, hospitality and sunshine. We’ll miss the local Boulangerie, the markets and restaurants and to be honest it was an effort to tear ourselves away from the property as it was so comfortable. We had a fantastic holiday and would like to say a very big thank you. This place is wonderful, a real find. Thank you again.

We stayed here with two of our friends for a week. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The views are picturesque, and we often fell asleep in the hammocks looking out at the rolling hills of sunflowers. The gite is clean, wonderfully maintained and comfortable, will a real farmhouse feel. We used the barbeque everyday, and Sat outside on the veranda for dinner every evening. The garden is beautiful. Helen and Tony were wonderful hosts (we found a stocked fridge on arrival!) Thoroughly recommended.
